Use Coupons

Select a Coupon in an order to deduct the amount.

Overview

Using a Coupon in an order consumes the Coupon Instance under the Account. The system writes the benefit result back to the order based on the usage Type in the Coupon Program. For example, when an Account order meets the CNY 100 threshold, you can select a 100-10 Coupon to deduct CNY 10.

Before you begin

[!IMPORTANT] - Account requirement: You need permission to edit orders. - Completion Conditions: The Account already has a Not Used Coupon Instance. - Dependency: The order meets the Coupon amount, Effective Date, Expiration Date, payment method, and product conditions.

Steps

On the order page, confirm the current Account.
On the order page, click Coupons.
On the Coupon selection page, view the Coupons that are available for the current order.
Select the Coupon to use.
Confirm the Coupon Face Value and usage conditions.
Return to the order page and view the amount changes after Coupon usage.
Save the order.

Available and unavailable Coupons

The system displays two types of Coupons:

Coupons available for the current order: The Coupon meets Account, amount, product, payment method, and other conditions. You can select it directly.
Other valid Coupons under the Account: The Coupon is still Valid, but the current order does not meet its usage conditions. Sales users can decide whether to adjust the purchase content.

For example, the Account has a Coupon that reduces CNY 30 when the order reaches CNY 200.This Coupon requires beverage products. If the current order amount reaches CNY 200 but does not Include beverage products, the Coupon is still Valid. However, it is not available for the current order.

Expected result and validation

After the Coupon is used, the system writes the benefit result back to the order:

If the usage Type is Offset Payment Received, the order amount and line Unit Price remain unchanged. The result affects Subtotal After Expense Allocation, paid amount, and Amount Pending Collection.
If the usage Type is Allocated Discount, the order amount and line Unit Price decrease. The benefit is recorded in Coupon Discount.
The final Amount Pending Collection equals the original Amount Pending Collection minus the Coupon Face Value used.

After you Save the order, confirm that the order displays the used Coupon. Then confirm whether Amount Pending Collection or Coupon Discount matches the expected result.

Notes

[!WARNING] One order can use only one Coupon. If the order already uses another Coupon, confirm whether you need to replace it.

[!NOTE] If the target Coupon does not appear in the available list, check the order amount, Product Scope, payment method, and Coupon validity period.

[!TIP] If the Coupon is restricted to WeChat Pay, confirm the order payment method first. If the Coupon requires 500 ml beverage products, confirm the Order Product and Product Details first.
