Issue or claim Coupons

Confirm how a Coupon Instance is generated.

Overview

A Coupon must be distributed by program first. After an Account claims or receives an instance, the Account can use it in an order. For example, an enterprise can distribute a Coupon that reduces CNY 10 when the order reaches CNY 100. It can also distribute a Coupon that reduces CNY 30 when the order reaches CNY 200 and requires beverage products.
Coupon distribution is performed in ShareMarketing. Coupon claim is performed in ShareOrder. This article describes only the sales-management boundaries and results that sales users can confirm.

Before you begin

[!IMPORTANT] - Account requirement: You need permission to view Account Coupon Instances. - Completion Conditions: The enterprise has created an effective Coupon Program. - Dependency: The target Account is in the distribution scope.

Flow

  1. The enterprise determines the Account scope based on the Coupon Program.
  2. The enterprise distributes the Coupon Program to Accounts.
  3. The Account claims the Coupon within the distribution scope.
  4. The system generates a Coupon Instance under the Account.
  5. Sales users view the Account’s Available Coupons in the order.

Sales-side checks

  • Confirm that the Account already has a Coupon Instance.
  • Confirm that the instance is associated with the correct Coupon Program.
  • Confirm the Face Value, validity period, and Usage Status.
  • Confirm that the Account order meets the Coupon usage conditions.
  • If the Coupon restricts payment to WeChat Pay, confirm the order payment method.
  • If the Coupon requires purchase of 500 ml beverage products, confirm the Order Product.

Expected result and validation

  • A Coupon Instance exists under the Account.
  • The Usage Status of the instance is Not Used by default.
  • The instance displays its Coupon Program.
  • If the program is a flexible Coupon, the instance Face Value can differ from the default program Face Value. For example, the default program can be 100-10, while the flexible Coupon Instance can be changed to 100-8 or 100-15.
After the check, confirm these results in the Account Coupon Instance. If the instance does not exist, check the distribution scope and Claim Status.

Notes

[!NOTE] A Coupon Program is only a rule template. The Account has a usable benefit only after a Coupon Instance exists under that Account.
