Manage campaign members


Maintain the people and account information that participate in a Campaign.

Overview

Campaign Members capture the targets reached by a Campaign. The more complete the member data is, the more accurate later Sales Lead association and campaign performance reporting become.

Before you begin

[!IMPORTANT] - Permission requirement: You need permission to view the target Campaign. - Data requirement: Prepare the companies, contacts, or accounts that participated in the Campaign. - Collaboration requirement: If multiple users maintain the Campaign, confirm that Related Teams members have read and write permissions.

View Campaign Members

  1. In the CRM front office, open the Campaign list page.
  2. Open the target Campaign from the list page.
  3. On the details page, view the Campaign Members information.

View Campaign preset views

Preset view Data Range
All Data owned by, participated in by, related to subordinates of, shared with, or owned by the primary department of the current user.
Owned by me Data whose owner is the current user.
Participated by Me Data whose Related Teams include the current user.
Owned by my subordinates Data whose owner is a subordinate of the current user.
Participated by my subordinates Data whose Related Teams include a subordinate of the current user.
Shared with me Data shared with the current user through data sharing rules.
Owned by my department Data where the current user manages the primary department, and the Related Teams member’s primary department is that department.

Maintain Campaign Members

  1. On the Campaign details page, go to the Campaign Members area.

  1. Click Add.
  2. Select or enter member information. You can add members only from Sales Leads, contacts, or accounts.

Select records from Sales Leads. Contacts and accounts work the same way.
  1. Add the member source and participation status.

  1. Click OK.

Maintain campaign collaborators

  1. On the Campaign details page, open Related Teams actions.

  1. Add the users who need to maintain the Campaign together.
  2. Set read and write permissions for each member.

  1. Click Add to save the Related Teams.

Expected result and verification

  1. Open the target Campaign details page.
  2. View the Campaign Members list.
  3. Confirm that member information is saved.
  4. Open the Campaign with a collaborator account.
  5. Confirm that the account can view or maintain data based on its permissions.

FAQ and troubleshooting

Issue Cause Resolution
Members cannot edit the Campaign. Related Teams do not have read and write permissions. Add read and write permissions for the members.
Subordinate Campaigns are not visible. The preset view or data scope does not match. Switch views, or contact an administrator to check the data scope.
Invalidated Campaigns are not visible. Invalidated records are visible only to CRM administrators. Use an administrator account to check the record status.
