Activate and deactivate price books
Manage the price book lifecycle.
Deactivate a price book
When a price book is temporarily unnecessary:
- Go to
CRM > Price Books. - Find the target price book.
- Change its status to Deactivated.
Impact of deactivation
- The price book no longer participates in order price matching.
- Prices already used in historical orders are not affected.
- You can activate the price book again at any time.
Activate a price book
To reactivate a deactivated price book:
- Go to
CRM > Price Books. - Find the deactivated price book.
- Change its status to Active.
Notes
- Confirm that the validity period still applies before activation.
- Confirm whether product prices in the price book details need updates.
Relationship with the standard price book
- You cannot deactivate or delete the standard price book.
- If all custom price books are deactivated, the system falls back to the standard price book.
