Configure CRM APP views


CRM app views manage menus and homepage experiences together.

Overview

Each view template contains one menu and homepage. Older tenants may still configure CRM menus and CRM homepages separately.

Before you begin

[!IMPORTANT] - You need System Administrator permission. - Confirm that CRM app views are enabled and define the Applicable Scope. - Review differences for legacy tenants, H5 pages, and third-party mobile access.

Configure a CRM Web view

  1. Go to Setup > App Center Management > App List.
  2. Find CRM Application and click Edit.

  1. Click New Template or edit a template.

  1. Configure the name, priority, scope, menus, toolbar, and components. Click Save.

Web view configuration key points

Application visibility and view scope must both include the employee. Also check role permissions and personal main navigation.

Configure a CRM mobile view

  1. Open Mobile App View and create or edit a template.

Employees can switch view templates and may customize common menus when permitted.

Control personal views

  1. Open Basic Info in CRM Application settings.
  2. Turn on the personal-view setting to allow employee-created views.
  3. Turn it off to allow only tenant-level views. Click Save.
Disable personal views

Notes

Web tools do not adapt directly to mobile. A responsive Web view cannot share a name with an existing mobile view.

Expected result

Employees see their applicable CRM view. A personal view takes precedence when one exists.
