Set up personal web main navigation


Use personal Web main navigation to organize your frequently used applications.

Overview

When your administrator enables navigation personalization, you can reorder main navigation applications and configure the More entry. Personal changes do not modify the company default navigation.

Before you begin

[!IMPORTANT] - Permissions: You need permission to sign in to the Web client. - Configuration: Your administrator must enable personal main navigation settings. - Limit: Personal main navigation displays up to eight applications.

Configure main navigation applications

  1. Open Main Navigation Settings on the Web client.

  1. Review the available applications.
  2. Move frequently used applications to the main navigation area.
  3. Drag applications to reorder them.
  4. Choose whether to display the More entry.
  5. Reorder applications in the More entry.
  6. Select Save.

Settings

Setting Description
Main navigation application order Controls application order in the primary navigation.
More entry Controls whether the entry is Visible for all applications.
Application order under More Controls application order in the More entry.
Display limit Personal main navigation displays up to eight applications.
Priority Personal navigation takes precedence over tenant-level navigation.

Reset to Default system order

  1. Open Main Navigation Settings on the Web client.
  2. Select Restore System Default.
  3. Select OK in the confirmation dialog.
  4. Verify that the administrator-defined navigation is restored.

Expected result

After saving, Web main navigation uses your personal configuration. After restoration, it uses the tenant-level configuration.
