Configure multiple languages
Maintain object and field translations, then let Channel Users switch language in Partner Portals.
Overview
International Edition currently supports the Web English edition. Admins adjust translations in the translation workbench. Channel Users switch language in personal information.
Before you begin

Applicable scope: ShareOrder International Edition.

Permissions: Use an admin account with ShareOrder management permission, plus a test Channel User account.

Prerequisites: International Edition is enabled. Prepare test accounts, products, and price data.
Steps
- Go to Setup > Custom development platform > Translation workbench.
- In the translation workbench, check Standard Object and field translations.
- Adjust object or field translations by industry terms and company usage.
- Sign in with a test Channel User account, open Partner Portals, and switch language in personal information.
- Check language display on the mall, product, and order pages.
Switch language
In Partner Portals personal information, use Switch language to switch to International Edition ShareOrder. Currently only the Web English edition is supported.
ShareOrder admin provides a translation workbench for objects and fields. Besides the preset multilingual capability, tenants can adjust object and field translations.
Path: Setup > Custom development platform > Translation workbench
Expected results
- Channel Users can switch language on the Web Partner Portals.
- Mall, product, and order pages show the selected language.
