Create an export contract and print the PI

Overview

Record export trading conditions and output a PI for the account to confirm.

Before you begin

❗
  • Permissions: You can create, submit, and print contracts.
  • Master data: Accounts, products, trade terms, payment terms, and company entities are maintained.
  • Prerequisites: An admin assigned the export contract record type and layout.

Create an export contract

  1. In the contract list, click New.
  2. For record type, select Export contract.
  3. Enter the account PO number and selling entity.
  4. Select trade terms, payment method, and payment terms.
  5. Enter packing notes and shipping method.
  6. Add contract products and quantities.
  7. Save the contract and submit it through your company process.

  1. In the approved export contract, open the print entry.
  2. Select the applicable PI print template.
  3. Preview the contract, products, and company entity information.
  4. Print or export the PI, and send it to the account for confirmation.

  • The export contract records complete trade and payment conditions.
  • The PI is generated from the contract and company entity information.
  • After the account confirms, you can push an export order from the contract.
