Create an export order

Overview

Before you begin

Steps

1. On the export contract detail page, push a sales order.
2. On the new order page, select the Export order record type.
3. Check the selling entity and trade terms brought in from the contract.
4. Check the payment method and payment terms.
5. Check order products, quantities, and prices.
6. Complete other required order fields.
7. Save and Submit the order.

You can also create an export order directly and maintain the fields manually.

Expected result

• The system creates an export order.
• When you push from a contract, the order brings in the main trade and payment information.
• You can use the order to create a shipping notice and a Export Shipment Order.
