Configure medical distribution agreement rules
Overview
Choose the business rules that link medical distribution agreements to authorization.
Before you begin

Permissions: You can configure contract business rules.

Prerequisites: The Medical Device DMS plugin is enabled.

Business prep: You confirmed which contract record types are medical distribution agreements.
Configuration notes
The plugin presets the Distribution agreement (medical) business rule. That rule links to the authorization agreement and does not force standard contract saleable scope and Price Book logic.
Steps
- In contract business rule configuration, open the target contract record type.
- If you use the preset medical agreement, select the Distribution agreement (medical) rule.
- If you add a custom contract record type, select the business rule it should use.
- Save the configuration.
- Push a distribution agreement from a test authorization.
How to verify
- The distribution agreement is linked to the source authorization.
- Custom contract record types run the selected rule.
- The agreement can still sync a Price Book.
