Configure initial qualification field mapping
Overview
Control how initial qualification fields map into the account record.
Before you begin

Permissions: You can configure system parameters.

Prerequisites: The Medical Device DMS plugin is enabled.

Scenario: You added initial qualification fields or custom qualification types.
Steps
- Go to System Settings > Parameter settings.
- Open initial qualification field mapping.
- Review the preset field mapping.
- Map new fields to the matching account fields.
- Check mapping for new qualification types.
- Save the configuration.
- Create an initial qualification record that includes a custom field.
- Select that record in an account.
- Confirm that the target fields are brought in correctly.
Notes
The system presets field-mapping rules. After you add fields or qualification types, adjust the mapping in System Settings > Parameter settings. Mapping changes affect later bring-in operations. Test with a sample record first.
